Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
Uses step-by-step, live-coached behavioral parent training to improve parenting skills, decrease child behavior problems and improve the quality of the parent-child relationship.
Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI)
A 4-6 session early intervention designed to prevent the development of chronic PTSD and associated symptoms.
Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR)
A trauma-informed treatment used to treat children and adolescents who have experienced abuse and trauma. Current symptoms are reduced when distressing memories associated with these events are reprocessed into a more adaptive and integrated state.
Trauma Specialized Child Psychiatry Services
Child psychiatrists are available for consultation with medical providers at Primary Children's and the Children's Justice Centers. They are able to evaluate and treat children receiving trauma therapy services at Safe and Healthy Families when appropriate.

Eligibility
Anyone in the tri-county area experiencing immediate, debilitating, or life-threatening complications as a result of serious mental illness. Sliding-fee or grant-based services may be available for those who qualify under special service priorities. Full (no cost) coverage is available to traditional Medicaid enrollees. Reduced (no-cost) coverage is available for non-traditional Medicaid enrollees. Contact for current information.
Services Provided
Offers a broad range of services for adults and children including: Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Group Therapy, Medication Management, After-School Programming, Parent & Child Groups, Pre-School Age Groups, Case Management, Individual Skills Development, Psychological Testing, Summer Groups for Children, Crisis Services, Behavior Management, and In-School Services (limited to contract schools). Services also available at offices in Logan, Brigham City, Randolph, and Garden City.
Emergency Mental Health Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to individuals in the tri-county area experiencing immediate, debilitating, or life-threatening complications as a result of serious mental illness. Access is available regardless of funding status or Medicaid eligibility.
