Programs that evaluate, treat and care for patients who have breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders including premature infants whose lungs are not fully developed, elderly people whose lungs are diseased, patients with chronic asthma or emphysema and patients who are victims of a heart attack, stroke, drowning or shock. Working under the supervision of a physician, respiratory therapists are responsible for measuring lung capacity and providing treatments and exercises that help to improve or restore lung function. Services Provided:

Provides services for patients who require optimization of tracheostomy and ventilator support, as well as weaning off respiratory support. Patients are managed cooperatively by pulmonologists, ENT/otolaryngologists, comprehensive care/rehabilitation medicine, social worker and a respiratory therapist.
