Programs that provide a variety of minor home repair services for homeowners who qualify. Specific services vary by organization. (AIRS PH-3300.2750) Programs that provide assistance in the form of labor and supplies for people with disabilities who need to install ramps, elevators, stair glides or lifts; widen doorways; install grab bars in showers and bathrooms; lower kitchen and other cabinets; or make other modifications in their homes or apartments to make them accessible. Eligibility:

Open to Box Elder residents that are living in over crowded conditions, substandard housing or can't afford paying rent. Welcomes all volunteers.

Services Provided: Partners with people in community, and all over the world, to help build or improve existing homes through a sweat equity program, and also provides court community services, home maintenance, and minor repair services. Participants are sold the home at or below market value, with no-interest mortgage. Services Provided:

Offers small grants of up to $500 for Utahns with disabilities to purchase assistive technology devices. 

Provides low-interest loans of up to $50,000 to purchase assistive technology or devices. Up to $25,000 may be loaned for home modifications. Examples of eligible purchases or adaptations include:
