A developmental-behavioral specialist is a pediatrician with special training and experience who aims to foster understanding and promotion of optimal development of children and families through research, education, clinical care and advocacy efforts. This physician assists in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of developmental difficulties and problematic behaviors in children and in the family dysfunctions that compromise children's development.

Services Provided: Provides comprehensive mental health care to enhance the emotional well being of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers struggling with severe behavioral problems. Services include autism therapy, mental health evaluation, therapeutic child care, parent and general counseling, volunteer opportunities, and evidence-based program models for prevention including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Telehealth options available. Speaks Spanish.COVID-19 UPDATE: Insurance and Medicaid cover telehealth services for families to have therapy from home.
