Provides comprehensive consultative and on-going care (if desired by referring provider or patient) for adults with all disorders of lipid metabolism. This clinic focuses on:

- All patterns of high cholesterol and high triglycerides.
- Very low lipid levels, particularly HDL-cholesterol below 20 mg/dL or triglycerides below 50 mg/dL posing diagnostic and treatment challenges.
- Lipid Disorders in special populations: extended kindred lacking diagnosis, lipodystrophy, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, pregnancy, young adult.
- Severe insulin resistance (using over 300 units of insulin daily), requiring search for rare causes, advanced polypharmacy, or both; with counseling from on-site Certified Diabetes Educators.

Multispecialty Skeletal Dysplasia Clinic offered three times per year which includes faculty from Shriners Hospital for Children-Salt Lake City, the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital. This clinic offers one-stop care of skeletal dysplasia with physicians from ENT, neurosurgery, pediatrics, neurology, radiology, genetics, orthopaedics, EOS radiology, seating experts, PT/OT and prosthetics orthotics.

The Osteogenesis Imperfecta Clinic is a quarterly, multispecialty clinic for children with OI or undiagnosed bone fragility disorders. Health care providers from orthopaedics, PT/OT, EOS radiology, social work, care management, nutrition, genetics and developmental pediatrics are each represented to assess and evaluate patients.

Clinics allow for patient families to benefit from the variety of experts, and are an opportunity for families to come together and network with other families dealing with similar challenges.

Provides a specialty car seat clinic staffed by seating and therapy specialists held two Fridays each month. Families are educated on proper car seat usage specific to needs and each seat is custom fit to ensure proper vehicle installation.

Pediatric and adult patients who require complex care. 

The intensive outpatient clinic helps patients with complex care needs. We partner with University of Utah Health Plans to provide these integrated services:

A specialty Hand Clinic is held twice each month. An orthopaedic hand surgeon and occupational therapist see and treat patients with a variety of hand issues.

Children and young adults up to age 21 years with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex.

Tuberous Sclerosis Coordinated Clinic is third Friday of each month. The TSC sub-specialists also see TSC patients most days of the week.

This clinic is held on the second and third Monday (p.m.) of each month. Orthopaedics, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, social work and nutrition are represented to assess and evaluate patients.
