Student health centers provide primary medical care, mental health care, substance use disorder counseling, nutrition education, health education and promotion and case management for students at the school. The specific services provided by school-based health centers vary based on community needs and resources as determined through collaborations between the community, the school district and the health care providers. The Intermountain Dixon Health Center is located on the campus of Dixon Middle School and provides general medical care for people of all ages, including low-income families or those without insurance. Includes those in need of assistance paying for their prescription of insulin.
