Call or email for information on referral to specific providers. Must be a Salt Lake county resident for funding assistance.

Services Provided: The Division has a group of subcontracted providers throughout Salt Lake County that are responsible for the treatment of referred clients, and subcontracts with the University of Utah's Assessment and Referral Services to perform assessments, offer free interim groups for individuals who may have to wait for admission into treatment, substance use disorder treatment, and utilizes school districts and other providers to deliver prevention education.COVID-19 UPDATE: Following all CDC and state guidelines.

Eligibility:

Must be seeking substance abuse treatment and unable to pay for costs. Must have exhausted all other avenues for help: friends, family, church, etc. Must be willing to commit to at least 30 days of residential treatment.

Services Provided:

Provides scholarships through partnerships with treatment programs for addicts in need who are seeking help and require inpatient treatment. Please note: scholarship placements take time. This is not a 24/7 emergency service. Applications are closed November, December and January of each year, reopening on the 2nd Monday in February.
